I miss this game

oh shit i still own the cat version of this

When I was a kid, I had Catz… II, and maybe III? My best friend and I would sit at the computer and raise our own cats for hours on end.

At one point we realized that if you discipline a cat by spraying it with water (and, in our minds, by throwing it across the room) its personality worsens and it starts to fight the other cats. So we took a Siamese and just treated it terribly for a while until it fought everything it saw, then we invited challengers to fight our champion (I think his name was actually Champ). Our cat always prevailed.

I still feel bad for what we did to that little bundle of pixels. I found the floppy disk I saved him to a while back, but I didn’t have anything that could read it……..

That’s one of the most hilarious and messed up things I’ve read in a while.  We all abused our cyber animals, but this is the first I’ve heard of somebody doing it as an organized sport.

Yeah, my friend and I… Uh, we would raise ‘em up real nice and stuff, until we found out how hilarious the noises they made when you threw ‘em were…
